Microsoft Australia is clearing the decks and letting the Surface Laptop go for almost half the original sticker price. They also have a bunch of other products – including the Xbox One X 1TB – selling at substantial discounts. Here are some of the deals.
Surface Laptop
The sticker price for the Core i5 Surface Laptop with 4GB and a 128GB SSD is $1499. But it’s currently reduced to $999 and you can take another 20% off that, bringing the price to $799.20, by using the discount code PSURFACE.
While the spec is pretty basic, it would suffice as a second system for regular travellers or for someone who does most of their work using cloud apps.

XBox One X
The same discount code can be applied to the Xbox One X 1TB. The usual $649 price tag dips to $518.40. And while it doesn’t include any bundled games, as many retailers offer, the saving lets you choose your own.
If you’re keen on the Xbox One S 1TB Console – Minecraft Limited Edition Bundle, that’s selling for $399 but there’s no further discount available from the usual $499 price tag.
Games
In addition to these deals, Microsoft is selling a bunch of games such as Forza Motorsport 7 for Xbox One for $35, which is half the recommended retail price as well as big discounts on other titles like NBA 2K18 for Xbox One and Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition for Xbox One
