Jim Carrey’s new show Kidding is here — you can watch the first episode right now on Stan.
The Aussie streaming service has surprise-released episode one ahead of its US TV premiere next week.
In his first series regular role for over two decades, Carrey has once again teamed up with director Michel Gondry, who he worked with on Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
In Kidding, Carrey plays Jeff, aka Mr. Pickles, a children’s television icon and all round beacon of wisdom to the youth of America.
However, when his family life starts to fall apart and his sanity slips, the business empire he’s built begins to crumble, with heartbreaking yet hilarious results.
Joining the all-star cast is Frank Langella, Catherine Keener and Judy Greer.
Kidding is exclusive to Stan and comes from the team behind Showtime’s Weeds.
New episodes will follow in September, the same day as they air in the US.
