Find A Local Board Game Group

Got an itch for board gaming but can’t convince your friends play? There are plenty of friendly public board gaming groups around Australia that you can join, and a Boardgamegeek user has made a map to help you find them.

Boardgamegeek user anomander64 has put together an Australian Gaming Groups Google Map that you can use to find nearby board game groups and events.

The map colour-codes different groups by the day of the week they meet and covers all of Australia. Every group has the address, cost to attend (if any) and meeting times listed along with any other relevant information.

Alternatively, you can check out the Boardgamegeek forums to find postings about local groups. Not every state and territory forum is active but some have pinned posts of the local events you can attend.
