There are two main ways to watch the FIFA World Cup online in Australia. The first is to download the Optus Sport app which is available on Android, iOS and most internet browsers. Originally costing $14.99 a month, the app is now free until August following technical problems during the first few matches of the tournament.

The other way to stream the World Cup Final for free is via the SBS On Demand website. There’s also a mobile optimised version available for Android and iOS.
