From TV drama to documentaries, original films to stand-up comedy, Australia’s streaming services are getting new content added all the time. Read on to see all the content that will be added to Stan, Netflix, Foxtel and Amazon Prime Video’s libraries in May.
Stan
Stan continues its weekly streaming schedule with the Unreal finale, new episodes of Billions, iZombie, Rise and Imposter. Adding to this roster are new series Sweetbitter and Vida. Stan is also bringing a new season of Swedish Dicks, with all episodes of Season 2 dropping at once.
Sweetbitter
Based on the best-selling novel by Stephanie Danler, Sweetbitter tells the story of Tess (Ella Purnell), a 22-year-old who arrives in New York City ready to pursue a new life, but is quickly intoxicated by the chaotic, adrenalised world behind-the-scenes of a top Manhattan restaurant: tasting expensive wine, exploring dive bars, and learning who she can trust.

Vida
From the writer of Girls and How To Get Away With Murder, Vida is a drama series about two Mexican-American sisters, Emma (Mishel Prada) and Lyn (Melissa Barrera), from the Eastside of Los Angeles who couldn’t be more different or distanced from each other. Circumstances force them to return to their old neighbourhood, where they are confronted by the past and surprising truth about their mother’s identity.
