More recent Netflix additions:

  • Just watched the first two episodes of Lost in Space.
This has definitely been written for the politically correct generation.

If you liked the original, you will feel insulted.
If you like intelligent scripts, you will feel insulted.

So far, the movie is better than this.

    • I watched the first ep last night. I didn’t hate it, which is enough to watch ep 2. It didn’t grab me in the way Legion or Westworld did last year (lets face it, not many shows would), but there was something there that amused my braincells for an hour, which is all it has to do most days.

  • Lost in Space – If you liked the original, for all it’s hoky science and stereotypical characters, you will hate this. The Robot is particularly different, as the original one was quite chatty and acted as a foil to Dr Smith. In this version, Smith is female and a very shifty character.
I also found suspension of disbelief difficult when Judy was so obviously of a different genetic background to the parental characters.
