Here’s What’s Coming And Going From US Netflix In May 2018

Hey, what’d you watch on Netflix this month? Any of those new titles they dropped? Did you see Cold Mountain? Maybe Mortal Kombat? Now there’s a Venn diagram that’s just two circles. Here are the new TV shows, movies, and stand-up specials coming to Netflix in May.

Note: This list refers to the US version of Netflix. It has a different library to Australia which changes from month to month. This information is only relevant to readers who access US Netflix using a VPN. Our roundup of Australian Netflix changes will be appearing soon.

The Highlights

Amelie, the movie that invented whimsy, comes to Netflix on May 1. So do Shrek, Scream 2, Sliding Doors, and The Bourne Ultimatum. And on May 29 we can finally watch Pixar’s Coco.

Throughout the month Netflix releases new seasons of its exclusive and original series, including Dear White People, Bill Nye Saves the World, Inspector Gadget, Terrace House, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. We also get stand-up sets from Ali Wong, John Mulaney, Tig Notaro, and Hari Kondabolu.

This month Netflix adds seasons of Scandal, Queens of Comedy, Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, Grand Designs, and CW shows Arrow, The Flash, Riverdale, Supernatural, and Dynasty.

Also in Netflix originals, the movie Anon imagines a future without privacy; the show The Rain imagines a future without most of Earth’s population; the movie Cargo imagines the same thing but in Australia.

Some good stuff is leaving Netflix in May, and so is Chappie. You have one week left to watch Ocean’s Eleven, GoodFellas, and Bridget Jones’s Diary; a week and a day to watch High School Musical and all of Phineas and Ferb.
