Can you pick up a piece of paper from the floor? With your teeth? While standing on one leg? Don't just guess -- you have to try it.
I learned about this from a PopSugar video and immediately had to try it. I got the paper the tall way on my third attempt and after a little practice was able to pick it up when it was folded and sticking about 10cm off the floor.
You might think that if you can do crossovers while roller or ice skating, you're at an advantage. Maybe. Or if you can do pistol squats? Sure, that will help. But there's something about that last inch that will probably tip you over onto your face.
Sadly, I was not able to convince anyone else in the Lifehacker office to try this. Yet. (I work out of a home office, but at least I took a video in the spirit of embarrassing myself publicly, with which I have previous experience.) On the bright side, I got a good leg day workout from trying this multiple times with different camera angles.
