Now Rent Movies From iTunes For Twice As Long

On your mark, get set, watch that iTunes movie rental! iTunes has better, or at least newer, options than streaming services, but the cost for a rental isn't just monetary -- it's temporal, too. iTunes rentals last 30 days, but once you click "play", a tighter countdown begins.

It used to be that if you fell asleep, got interrupted, or had any other reason to pause, you only had 24 hours -- from when you started playing the movie -- to finish watching before the rental ended. Or maybe you're a parent and breathed a sigh of relief when 24 hours of Moana repetition came to an end.

Well, the good news (or the bad news -- sorry, parents) is that now you have 48 hours to finish or re-watch the film.
