The Extremely Pixel-Dense Workspace

The Extremely Pixel-Dense Workspace

Redditor jamend loves screen real estate, and so do we. He’s rocking four displays in this shot, a 4K display in the center, two 1440p displays on either side, in portrait mode, and a 4K TV just above. Best of all, that’s not all the great gear he uses to get stuff done. Here’s a full rundown.

Personally, I love the way he has a pair of 1440p displays in portrait mode next to his primary 4K display. That makes them perfect for reading long documents (or blogs, for that matter) while watching movies or playing games on the main display, and let me tell you, 4K gaming is gorgeous. Even if he’s not gaming, it’s great for comparing documents side-by-side, or tiling windows so you can see everything you have open.

As for the gear powering the whole setup, this is what jamend listed over at Imgur (linked below):

He shares a little more information about his setup over at Reddit, including the specific IKEA desk he’s using and the IKEA backlighting he has around the displays, both of which are pretty useful if you’re thinking about adapting his style to your space, so hit the link below to browse the thread.
