Try These Stretches Even If You’re Not A Flexible Person

Video: If you’re inflexible, you might feel like there’s no point in trying to stretch. But without stretching, how will you ever get more flexible? A session like the one in today’s video can help.

The video is 20 minutes, but if you’re short on time, click the gear in the lower right corner and set the speed to 1.5 or double. They’re static stretches, after all, so you’ll just be cutting the duration of each in half. Feel free to buy some extra time by continuing each stretch while your host, Nico, is explaining the next one.

The stretches start out easy, and then get to the point where they may feel challenging, but not like you’re going to rip your muscles from the bone. Stretch gently; it still works, and you’ll feel great afterwards.

Difficulty: Beginner.

Modifications: Take each stretch as far as you feel capable, but no farther.

Equipment: None.

Sweat Factor: No sweat.
