The OpenStack Summit is a global event that is held in a different city twice a year. In November, it comes to Sydney. The full agenda was announced today and early bird registrations are available for a couple more weeks.
OpenStack experts from around the world will be presenting with international speakers from a number of different industry verticals. In addition, there will be local speakers as well as representatives from Cisco, Adobe and other tech companies.
The main part of the OpenStack Summit runs from November 6 till November 8 but it is preceded by two days of intensive presentations by the OpenStack Institute where they’ll cover ways of contributing to OpenStack like providing new features, writing documentation and participating in working groups.
Tickets to the event (you can register here through EventBrite) cost between $600 and $850. Early bird pricing ends at 4:59 PM on Thursday 9 September 2017.
I attended a local OpenStack event a little while ago and it was well organised with great speakers. The OpenStack Summit in Sydney looks like a great opportunity for local OpenStack aficionados to hook up with international experts and learn more.
