Bust A Move On Your Lunch Break With This ’90s-Inspired Dance Workout

Bust A Move On Your Lunch Break With This ’90s-Inspired Dance Workout

Video: Sometimes a lunch break workout is the right time for a careful practice of handstanding or one foot balancing. But if you have the space and some willing co-workers, why not crank up “Push It” in the break room and take five minutes for a dance party?

This hip-hop workout from Keaira LaShae is just seven moves long. You’ll probably want to preview the video and make sure you know how to do each move before beginning the workout, since she doesn’t take the time to explain. But once you’ve figured them out — or decided on your own variations because, hey, it’s your party — the sequence is easy to follow.

Difficulty: Intermediate? Depends how good a dancer you are.

Modifications: Keaira begins with a “home base move” of side-to-side steps. You can just do that move in place of anything you can’t quite figure out.

Equipment: None.

Sweat Factor: About what you’d expect from a dance party. Put this on repeat and you’ll work up a serious sweat — but it’s short, and there are ample opportunities to pause the video for a nice cool drink.
