The ‘Mounted Everything’ Workspace

The ‘Mounted Everything’ Workspace

Lainz‘s setup is unique in a few ways, one of which that he has a pair of speakers mounted to monitor arms just above his displays. Really offers that whole surround sound feel. Beyond that though, the setup has a few more neat surprises in store. Here are some more photos.

Before we dive too deep, let’s talk about that monitor stand. It’s the most popular question Lainz has at the Reddit thread linked below, and here’s what that’s all about:

They are a 6 monitor mount stand. It is a “cheap” stand compared to a lot of others. It goes under a few different names. [link]
Specification:

  1. Suit: 6pcs 13″-27″ monitor
  2. Load capacity: 10kg per monitor
  3. VESA: 75×75 and 100×100
  4. Tilt: -90 to +90 degree
  5. Swivel: -90 to +90 degree
  6. Rotate: 360 degree

Here’s another shot from the side, where you can see the monitors on the arms from a different angle — and check out that awesome Hellboy arm diagram on the wall.

As for the gear on the top of the desk, this is from the Imgur gallery also linked below:

Dell U2715H – Asus MG279Q – Dell U2715H
Yulong D100II Headphone dac/amp with Focal Elear headphones, also dac for the Argon da2 v2 that powers my Argon 6340 speakers and 840 sub.
Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 usb microphone input with a Audio Technica ATR2100-USB microphone.
Qpad Mk-50 Keyboard and Logitech G500s mouse.

There’s a shot of the interior of Lainz’s computer — and its specs (spoiler, it’s a pretty slick watercooled rig crammed into a good-looking Fractal Design Define S case) — over at Imgur, but you can go check that out yourself. Oh, and if you’re wondering about the lamp hanging from the ceiling? Yup, it’s from IKEA.
