Make Fantastic Short Ribs In 10 Minutes By Grilling Them Like Steak

Most short rib recipes usually call for hours in the oven braising, but you can get super tasty and tender results by treating them like a steak: Season and throw them on the grill.

Not only does this mean that tasty short ribs get into your gaping maw that much faster, but your house is free from the heated tyranny of long oven times. To get them extra flavourful, toss them in a marinade for a few minutes (if you need marinade/dry rub ideas, Bon Appetit has 31 of them) and grill them over a medium-hot fire for eight to 10 minutes, making sure to leave them alone while they get a nice char on ’em. Remove from the heat and let them rest for about five minutes, slice against the grain and devour.
