Fare Alerts

Have a bunch of destinations in mind? Perhaps you’re looking to get some great deals and save money. You can do that through the Fare Alert function in the App. It’s super simple.

And you’re not restricted to sales fares on the App, you have the option to select a fare price range and receive alerts on your phone.

You can also view and edit your fare alerts anytime by scrolling down the home page — you can even turn individual fares on and off.. You’ll receive a notification whenever one of your chosen fares goes on sale or enters your selected price range.

And if you’re someone who likes to keep your eye on bargains, there’s an entire ‘Deals’ tab that can give you all the best fares in real time.

Book flights

Once you know where you want to go, you can book flights right from the App. The search functions are easy and intuitive — you can even view your past flight searches.

With your Qantas Frequent Flyer account linked to the App, you can choose to pay for your flight with money or points. Once you get to the review page, you’ll also be able to see how many Qantas Points and status credits you’ll earn from your flights.

From there, all you have to do is follow the prompts and get your flights locked in!

Book Hotels

Now it’s time for your holiday pad. You can start your search by tapping on the ‘Book’ tab in the App. You’ll also conveniently be able to find cars, transfers, activities and even travel insurance.

You can also filter your hotel selections to get exactly what you’re looking for, in terms of price and accommodation-type. You’ll also be able to clearly see the Trip Advisor ratings and reviews on each hotel as well as how much money you’re saving on them. From there, simply choose where you would like to stay, follow the prompts and book!

Car Hire

Looking for a pair of wheels to take your places on your holiday? The Qantas App has you covered here too. All you need to do is go to the ‘Book’ tab and select the city you’ll be visiting. From there, you’ll be given options for pick up and drop off, the type of cars available and optional extras, such as a GPS and child seats. You can then book with cash and/or Qantas Points.
