One word that best describes how you work: “Efficiently” (or at least I try to).
What apps/software/tools can’t you live without?
Phone and laptop. Email (Outlook) and web browser. Most of our work happens in the cloud – we are big users of Atlassian’s products (e.g. JIRA, HipChat).
What social network do you find the most useful?
I’m rarely on social media. I use FB Messenger and occasionally Twitter.
What were the most important lessons you learned while growing your business?
Do less, focus more. The 80/20 rule is old, but it’s probably increasingly more applicable.
What has been the most surprising part of your business journey?
Hindsight! Looking back at what works best doesn’t always match with what I would have guessed.
What everyday thing are you better at than anyone else?
Optimizing frequent flyer miles
What’s your sleep routine like?
I get 7-8 hours’ sleep most nights. I’m in the office most days by 7am.
What advice would you offer to other businesses on how to succeed?
Build something that people love.
