Mumsnet reveals the simple method, from separating the yolk from the whites with a mug, to quickly mixing the meringue and powdered sugar before popping them in the microwave for about two minutes. It might be easier to separate the yolks from the whites using a water bottle, but it’s otherwise a no-fuss way to make meringues.
