When is the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus coming to Australia?

The Huawei P10 and P10 Plus will be available from 25 May. They will be available to buy outright from selected retailers and on a plan from Vodafone, Optus and Virgin Mobile.

The Huawei P10 has a recommended retail price of $899 in Australia. The P10 Plus will go for a heftier $1099.

The star of the show is undoubtedly the high-end rear cameras (a Leica Dual-Camera 2.0 in the P10 and a Dual-Camera 2.0 Pro in the P10 Plus.) These boast an auto-sensing algorithm that tracks lighting and adjusts shutter speed, auto white balance and a new depth-of-field algorithm which Huawei says will deliver “sharper, clearer and more vivid colour” with a bokeh-effect blurred background.

Both models are powered by a Kirin 960 chipset and Mali G71 MP8 GPU, and there’s a machine learning algorithm that learns how you use your phone – Huawei Ultra Memory uses this data to anticipate app usage and manage RAM, with the aim of your most-used apps loading faster.
