We’ve already looked at the best Samsung Galaxy S8 plans from each Australian telco. Now, Woolies has pulled a rabbit out of its hat with a new plan boasting 12GB of data for $92 a month. If you require more than 10GB of data, this is the best deal we’ve seen from any telco so far. Read on for the details.
Available for pre-order, Woolworths’ new Samsung Galaxy S8 plan is the same as the old one, but it now comes with 4GB of bonus data. This works out to a total of 12GB per month. The plan includes unlimited calls and texts, 300 minutes for international calls per month and a Zero Bill Shock policy.
Here’s a look at the plan. Click on “Go” for more information. (If it’s not appearing, wait a few seconds for it to auto-generate.)
And here’s how the above deal compares to equivalent plans from Virgin, Vodafone, Optus and Telstra:
It’s worth noting that Woolworths piggybacks off Telstra’s 4G network, so you shouldn’t experience any connectivity issues even if you live in a rural area. (Well, no more than is usual for Telstra.)
The deal is only being offered on a 24 month contract which brings the total minimum cost to $2208. Click here for the full terms and conditions.
If you’re looking for something slightly cheaper, Virgin’s $86 phone plan would be our pick – it comes with 10GB of data, unlimited calls and text and $300 of international calls. Just be aware that data top-ups are charged at $10 per gigabyte. So to match Woolies’ data cap, you’ll need to pay $106 per month on this plan.
