Dealhacker: Get A Free Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Via Ingogo

The Australian taxi-booking app Ingogo has upped the number of Qantas points customers earn to up to 1000 points for the first four rides. In addition, Ingogo customers can join the Qantas Frequent Flyers program for free by downloading the app – a saving of $89.50.

Last year, Ingogo introduced Qantas points to rides via a partnership with the airline. This allows consumers to earn up to 750 bonus Qantas points through Ingogo trips. To entice new customers, the service is now offering up to 1000 bonus Qantas points on a customer’s first four rides. The points are earned automatically when you book using the Ingogo app.

Ingogo users can also join the Qantas Frequent Flyers program without paying the usual fee of $89.50. As we’ve shown in the past, 1000 Qantas points is the equivalent of approximately $5 when purchasing commercial goods from the Qantas website. You can also use 1000 points to knock $85 off around $85 off the price of a flight upgrade. These aren’t huge savings, but if you’re planning to use a taxi anyway, it definitely makes sense to book through Ingogo.
