Yelp has added a new business attribute to their listings that shows where you’ll find gender neutral bathrooms.
You’ll find the new Gender Neutral Restrooms detail in the business info section of a Yelp listing, the same place you find details like whether there’s waiter service, alcohol, TV, or military discounts. While it’s not ready yet, you’ll soon be able to search for gender neutral bathrooms too, which will make the feature much more useful when you’re out and about. As you’d expect, it will take a little while for this info to propagate, but Yelp will start asking users who check in to a restaurant as well as the restaurant owner to add the detail over the coming weeks.
