Samsung Galaxy S8 Vs Samsung Galaxy S7 [Infographic]

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ have already been crowned the best smartphones that the company has ever produced. Mind you, the same thing was said about the S7 and S6. If you’re thinking about upgrading your Galaxy S7, you need to know whether the improvements are worth shelling out for. This infographic compares the S8 and S*+ to their respective predecessors.

On April 18, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be available to buy in Australia. Below, you will find all the ways that the new models differ from last year’s flagships: the S7 and S7 Edge.

It’s worth noting that this infographic was put together by Samsung, who obviously have a vested interest in making you upgrade. With that said, it remains an accurate: reflection of how the two generations compare.

A few noteworthy differences are the dimensions (the S8 and S8+ are physically smaller despite having larger screens), battery (the S8 Edge has a largest battery, oddly) and display (the new handsets have an improved Quad HD+ screen with a native resolution of 2960×1440 pixels.)

As these specs make clear, the S8 brings nothing truly “game changing” to the table, but it does offer incremental improvements across the board. You can read about the specs in more detail here.
