Peach season inspires many of us to stock up on crate after crate of the fragrant fuzzy fruit, but these thin-skinned beauties bruise quite easily, even when they’re just hanging out in the produce drawer. Luckily, all you need to to is flip ’em on their head.

When you store peaches (or nectarines, or apricots) stem side down, they’re stabilised and can’t roll around, whether they’re on the counter or in the crisper. It’s a tip that’s almost stupidly simple, but I’ll still be using it on my precious peaches.
