Never Go Hungry Again With This DIY Pie In A Mug

Sometimes, you just don’t have time to grab a decent lunch. The next time you’re stuck in the office, bring these ingredients along for a hearty meal in a mug.

Pumpkin pie may be firmly associated with Thanksgiving in the US, but that’s no reason why Aussies can’t get in on the action. To get a quick fix o’ pie, just grab some puree and your favourite mug.

Click the link below for in-depth instructions, but you’ll begin by mashing up a couple of ginger biscuits and mixing them with a teaspoon of melted butter.

Press that mixture into the bottom of your mug, and top with a filling made from 1/3 cup pumpkin puree, one egg, one tablespoon of cream, two tablespoons of brown sugar, and one teaspoon of cinnamon and/or nutmeg. Microwave for 2-5 minutes, until a knife inserted into the middle comes out clean, let cool, and devour.
