Coffee-flavored and creme liqueurs are common add-ins for caffeinated beverages, but there’s much more alcoholic variety to be had in the world of coffee cocktails. Bon Appetit has crafted a guide to get you there.

Though their suggestions are geared towards Starbucks drinks, they can be applied to almost any coffee (or tea), even if you’re just brewing your own at home.
For example, though they suggest spiking the Oprah Chai Tea Latte with rum and Averna, this would actually be good in any tea latte. Similarly, you don’t have to run out a purchase the famed PSL anytime you want an autumnal cup of coffee; 28ml Bourbon, a dash of Angostura bitters, and 7ml of Allspice would be heaven in any cup of good, strong coffee.
To make your own, just choose an equivalent beverage readily available in Australia and do the measurement conversions. Too easy!
