Build An Obnoxious Alarm Clock That Forces You To Shut It Off With A Shot From A Nerf Gun

If you have trouble waking up in the morning, annoying alarms are a tried and true way to force yourself up and out of bed. YouTuber Normal Universe’s method for dealing with this was to make an alarm clock that requires a shot from a Nerf gun to turn off.

The idea here is easy, the alarm sounds until it gets hit by something, which in this case happens to be a Nerf dart. The alarm is wired onto a sensor that’s hooked up to a NeoPixel ring that displays the time inside of a 3D-printed housing. The whole thing is about as absurd as it gets, but it’s a fun idea nonetheless. You’ll find the guide for building one for yourself over on YouTube.
