Turn On Notifications In Google Opinion Rewards To Never Miss Free Money

If you’re not using Google Opinion Rewards, you should check it out. It’s a quick way to get free money for answering a few questions. If you do have it, turn on this setting so you’ll always get notified when there’s a new survey.

Google Opinion Rewards does a decent job of letting you know that there’s a new survey available, but sometimes it’s easy to miss the notifications. Since the surveys expire, if you miss it, then that’s money down the drain.

A new update, however, will let the app play a sound (or vibration, if your phone is on silent) so you don’t miss it. To turn it on, update the app, then follow these steps:

  1. Open the Google Opinion Rewards app.
  2. Tap the menu button on the left side.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Enable the toggle that reads “Notification sounds”.

That’s it. Normally we’d prefer to reduce notifications so your phone doesn’t constantly bug you, but in this case it might be worth a mild annoyance. Avid users of this app can end up paying for the occasional app or movie rental for virtually no effort. So long as you don’t miss the surveys, of course.
