Evernote For iPhone Ditches The Home Screen, Makes It Easier To Create And Manage Notes

iOS: One of the biggest complaints about Evernote has been its cluttered interface that tends to make it hard to just pop in and make a quick note. Today, the iPhone version of Evernote is making an attempt to fix that with a refresh of its interface.

The big new change here is a simpler interface with a new start screen. Gone is the home screen and in its place is a list of recently used notes. On this same screen you can also instantly create a new note, search through notes or head into individual notebooks. You can even long-press that new note button to pull up options to instantly record audio, capture images or set up a notifications. You can also now stylise text with colour or different text sizes. The update is rolling out for iPhone right now.
