All The Best Movies Coming To And Leaving US Netflix In February

2017 is now in full swing, and the US version of Netflix is yet again bringing a ton of new original movies and TV shows alongside some decent stuff from other networks. That includes some real winners this month, like Finding Dory and The People v. O.J. Simpson.

Note: This list refers to the US version of Netflix. It has a different library to Australia which changes from month to month. This information is only relevant to readers who access US Netflix using a VPN.

The Highlights

As has become the usual, we’re getting a lot of new Netflix Originals without a ton of context. One that looks particularly interesting is I Don’t Feel at Home in the World Anymore, which looks like a black humour-thriller genre-mashup starring Melanie Lynskey and Elijah Wood. There’s also a new season of Chef’s Table alongside a new series that looks exactly like Chef’s Table, but for design, called Abstract: The Art of Design.

Otherwise, Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant arrive in the zombie-meets-Desperate Housewives-meets-iZombie show that decided for some odd reason to bring back ’90s band Cake in its trailer, Santa Clarita Diet. That’s not all though, we’re also getting the very ’90s-ish obstacle-jumping show, Ultimate Beastmaster season 1, White Nights season 1, Seven Deadly Sins season 2, The Sound of Your Heart season 1, alongside the feature films Imperial Dreams, The Office spin-off David Brent: Life on the Road, and Girlfriend’s Day.

As far as non-original content goes, the first season of American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson (RT: 97%) is the biggest highlight. Aside from that, we’re also getting the shockingly well-reviewed Sausage Party (RT: 83%), the Finding Nemo followup, Finding Dory (RT: 94%), and Contact (RT: 62%). The Harvey Milk biopic, Milk (RT: 94%), also comes in and is certainly worth a watch right now.

Not much worthwhile is leaving, but if you need a reminder of how great oil is, then be sure to watch There Will Be Blood (RT: 91%) before it leaves, and get one more viewing of Clueless (RT: 81%) in to balance out your brain afterwards. It’s also your last chance to watch An Inconvenient Truth (RT: 93%), so you should probably get on that while you can.
