A 25-Minute Bodyweight Workout You Can Do With Your Kids

Exercise is good for everyone. We know that, but it’s difficult to get that workout in when making peanut butter and jam sandwiches or watching Dora the Explorer takes precedent. So rather than ditch exercising altogether, why not get your kids involved too?

It will probably help your kids to think of this as play time, rather than a workout. Once they’re on board, you can put this 25-minute workout video on your TV and follow along with them. Just be sure to give yourselves plenty of space to move around. The video will take you and your family through a nice warm-up and exercises like toe touches and jumping jacks. Don’t worry, it adds elements like “red light, green light” and other cues to keep the exercising fun. Take rest and water breaks often and when you need to!

Also, you could do this workout without the kids around, too. Just sayin’.
