Welcome To Lifehacker’s Seventh Annual Evil Week!

Welcome To Lifehacker’s Seventh Annual Evil Week!

It’s that time of year again: it’s time to unleash our dark side. Welcome to Lifehacker’s seventh annual Evil Week.

The whole idea of “evil” is a bit tongue-in-cheek, but one common theme unites most of the topics we’re covering: Knowledge is power, and whether you use that power for good or evil depends on you. Sometimes evil is justified, or sometimes understanding it can help you fight evil. Learning to crack passwords teaches you security practices. A better understanding of lying and manipulation earns you the ability to detect such tactics (or use them in situations where it’s actually the lesser of two evils).

This week, we’ll cover a breadth of topics from the dark side of life hacking, and even share a couple of our favourite evil posts from the past. There’s a time and a place for bad behaviour, and that’s right here and now. Join us as we ring in another Evil Week.

Still not sure what to expect? Check out our evil week posts from the past.
