Google’s Live Election Count: Trump Takes The Lead

Donald Trump is currently ahead in US electoral votes. The popular vote stands at 24,596,386 votes for Trump (48.9%), 23,497,293 for Clinton (47.%). Watch Google’s live count on the US presidential election here.

The election is poised to break voter turnout records across the US and – terrifyingly for some – Trump has all the momentum. At the time of writing, Clinton had 190 electoral votes and Trump had 201. There are 147 electoral votes still available with 270 needed to win.
