Video: Luggage with spinner wheels can easily glide in any direction, making it super convenient to navigate crowded, cramped spaces. Unfortunately, spinner wheels are also pretty flimsy and prone to break. Here's how you can salvage your bag and replace a busted wheel or two.
Replacing spinner wheels requires a mix of brute force and ingenuity. The video here takes the hacksaw approach, but some bags might call for more delicate measures, in which case you could possibly use a drill to push the rivet or screw out. You also need a couple of new wheels, which you need to measure to ensure a good fit. The bag's manufacturer should be able to provide some measurements, but to check yourself simply use a measuring tape to measure the diameter of the wheel.
