A 30-Minute Yoga Routine You Can Do Anywhere, With No Special Equipment

Video: Working out when you don’t have much room to move around or any exercise equipment can be tough, but here’s a yoga routine you can do just about anywhere without any special equipment.

Whether you live in a tight space, or you’re travelling and stuck in a hotel room, this half hour routine will help you stretch and relax. Best of all, bare minimum you’ll need is a bath towel and a chair.

The focus in these exercises is on stretching your hips, sides and back with a little core work towards the end. I gave this routine a try in my small living room and was able to do it with two people side by side since the movements are restricted to an imaginary alleyway. The routine itself isn’t too intense, just keep that imaginary alleyway in mind so you work with the space you have available.
