Group holidays are incredibly fun, but stressful, which is why planning ahead is key to everyone enjoying themselves. Travefy offers one place that everyone can use to plan the trip and make sure you’re all on the same page.
Beyond basic features, like adding trip dates and sharing with others in the group, Travefy automatically pulls key information about your flights, hotel, restaurants and other sightseeing spots and puts them where everyone can see them. I planned a fictional trip and Travefy was able to pull times, addresses, contact information and TripAdvisor reviews with minimal information from me. For each item, you can choose to share it with everyone in the group, or just select specific people (which makes sense if you’re not all flying together). You can also add information manually.
Besides itinerary planning, Travefy also includes a chat feature to talk about the holiday with the group. You can add ideas to the chat for discussion, or run a poll to figure out what everyone wants to do. This sets Travefy apart from other group trip planning services where you often have to have these decisions made before you use the service to lay everything out. This part of Travefy cuts down on the back-and-forth texts, emails and Facebook messages when planning a trip with others.
