Quickly Clean Your Car Air Vents With A Foam Paint Brush

Car air vents can get pretty dusty over time, but getting between those narrow slots makes them tough to clean with just a rag. If you need some extra reach, you can get a reusable tool that will take care of the job for about $1.

In this video of various vehicle-focused tips, Youtuber DaveHax shares a smart trick for accessing all the nooks and crannies of your car’s air vents. All you need is a foam paint brush. It will slide into your vents without a problem and catch all the dust and gunk in its porous foam as you go. When you’re finished, just rinse it out and use it again later. They’re super cheap to buy — you can grab them in packs at Bunnings or find them at the dollar store — and they’re even small enough to keep in your glove box. Stop blowing dust in your face and get those vents clean.
