All The Best Movies Coming To And Leaving US Netflix In November 2016

As summer starts to heat up, Netflix cycles through another set of movies. This time around, you’ll see the return of the Gilmore Girls, a couple of Stephen King classics, and more. Other movies will be bidding us adieu. Here’s the full list.

Highlights

It’s a bit of a slow month on both the coming and going front. Though they’re a bit late after Halloween, Stephen King fans will appreciate the arrival of both the excellent Cujo (RT: 60%) and the terrible Thinner (RT: 16%). Also arriving are the Coen Brothers’ conspiracy-comedy, Burn After Reading (RT: 78%), that one movie everyone’s always talking about that took 12 years to film, Boyhood (RT: 98%), and the Bogart-Hepburn classic, The African Queen (RT: 100%).

As has been the case for the bulk of this year, it’s more about Netflix originals this month. There are a few new original and exclusive series coming, including a new drama about Queen Elizabeth, The Crown and Gilmore Girls, which plays out like a mini-series about a quirky family in a quirky town. There’s also Lovesick (formally known as Scrotal Recall), Case, Roman Empire: Reign of Blood, the conspiracy-thriller Paranoid, and the Brazilian post-apocalyptic thriller, 3%. Also coming along are a handful of new films, including the Kevin James led True Memoirs of an International Assassin, Divines, Mercy, and The Ivory Game, a documentary about ivory trading.

Finally, it’s your last chance to catch a few classics, including Deliverance (RT: 93%), E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial (RT: 98%), The Burbs (RT: 47%), and Spy Game (RT: 66%). More notable than every single one of those movies is The Core, which leaves November 1. If you haven’t seen The Core (RT: 41%), now’s as good a time as any to watch one of the least scientifically accurate, comically horrendous movies. I promise, it will make you feel better.
