Top Plain Yogurt With Grilled Veggies For A Healthy, Satisfying Snack

Topping your morning yogurt with sweet, crunchy things like granola is nothing new, but if you want a healthy, fibre-and-protein rich, substantial snack or light lunch, try topping it with grilled vegetables.

This is just one of the 12 yogurt toppings compiled by The Kitchn — click the link below for the rest — but I think it might just be my favourite. Obviously this savoury topping is best reserved for plain yogurt. Yoplait strawberry wouldn’t exactly work — and I would go with a full-fat variety. Thick and tangy Greek yogurt would provide a nice contrast to garlicky roasted carrots and zucchini, and if you wanted to get really fancy, you could upgrade to labneh, an amazing yogurt-cheese hybrid that is just made for savoury applications like this. (Extra points if you drizzle some good olive oil on top and sprinkle on some za’atar.)
