Build Your Own Raspberry Pi-Powered Clock Radio

The Raspberry Pi makes for a pretty good alarm clock, and DIYer Andy Felong shares off his project, which comes out of a converted old radio and turns a Pi into a clock radio and weather display.

The project here includes a Raspberry Pi Zero, a DAC for improved audio quality and a cheap display. All that is packed into an old radio case that displays the time and temperature using a dashboard. It’s a clever little system. Head over to Felong’s site for the guide.
