It’s easy to throw everything in your kitchen or desk drawers drawers to get them out of sight, but that doesn’t take care of the clutter. These DIY organisers will fix the clutter, keep everything easy to reach and they’re easy to build to fit any desk or drawer you have.

Start by laying out items in your drawer so that you have a rough idea of how long and wide you need each organiser section to be. For example, spatulas and serving utensils need more space than a catch-all section for rubber bands, chip clips and twist ties. You can use thin wood, cut to length at the hardware store, or even cardboard as the sides of each organiser. You also need glue and clamps, or masking tape if you’re using cardboard.
Glue the corners of each organiser together and clamp or tape in place. Wipe away excess glue and let dry for at least half an hour. You can then remove the clamps, but let the glue dry for 24 hours. You can use your separators as-is, or paint them to add a pop of colour to your drawer. For step-by-step instructions, check out the link below.
