If your hairbrush has seen better days, you can get it looking pristine again with less than a minute’s worth of work. All you need is a few household essentials.
This video from the Clean My Space YouTube channel shows you how to use a pen, bowl, pair of scissors, some shampoo and a toothbrush to get your tangled mess of a hairbrush back into ship shape.
Start by running the pen through the hair stuck in the hairbrush and pulling it up past the bristles. Now grab some scissors and cut through the hair so it can be pulled more easily. After you have all the hair out, mix some shampoo with warm water and scrub off any remaining gunk with a toothbrush.
Once it dries, your hairbrush will be clean and ready for use.
