Use Up Leftover Hot Dogs By Making Corn Dog Muffins

I love a good hot dog, but they’re one of those things I can get burnt out on if I’m not careful. Corn dogs are a nice variation on the classic sausage/bun pairing, but can be difficult to make at home. The solution? Make corn dog muffins.

All you need is a good cornbread recipe, some hot dogs and a muffin tin. Fill regular-sized muffin tins two thirds of the way with your batter, and stick 3cm pieces of your favourite sausages down in there, and bake at 220C for 10-12 minutes. Serve with tomato sauce and mustard and feel mildly smug about your choices because these are baked and not fried.
