Tinycards From Duolingo Teaches You Hundreds Of Topics With Flash Cards

Duolingo is easily one of the most popular ways to learn a new language, and today the company’s releasing Tinycards, a tool for learning much more than just a new language using flashcards.

Tinycards uses the same spaced repetition learning techniques as Duolingo, but applies it to a much wider variety of topics. Built into the system is everything from inventions to Pokemon names, but beyond that, users can make and share their own cards on any topic they choose. Once you pick a topic you want to learn, Tinycards shows you a card, then asks you to memorise different portions as you go along, mixing up and repeating different details. It only takes a couple of minutes to get through each lesson, so it’s perfect for learning all sorts of topics when you’re on the move. There’s already a ton of topics available in the app today at launch, and more are surely on the way as users create their own, so keep an eye on it moving forward.
