We've seen a lot of workspaces with great audio gear in them, but redditor huy- has an interesting collection of good, solid, consumer gear meant to give him the best possible listening experience without being crazy or over the top. Here's a look at his workspace.
The shot above is the whole setup, including the audio gear to the left of the desk and workstation. Here's a shot specifically of the computer and associated equipment:
Huy- explains what you see:
Asus ProArt PA248q 24'' monitor
Dell U3011 30'' monitor
Wyse keyboard — shopping around for a good mechanical fullsized keyboard.
Logitech G500 mouse
Fostex 6301b powered monitors
Teac LS-MC90 speakers
15'' MacBook Pro i7 - 2.3GHz, 16GB RAM, 240GB SSD
Now, the Macbook Pro isn't hooked up to anything, but he does share a photo and the rundown of his computer at the bottom. Here are the specs:
Hidden on the other side of my entertainment stand, my PC. I need to upgrade my gaming graphics card for this PC.
Fractal R4 case
i7 3770k w/ Corsair H110i cooler
16GB RAM Corsair Dominator RAM
EVGA GTX 570 w/ NZXT bracket, Corsair H90 cooler
AMD FirePro W7000
a silly amount of HDDs
Seems legit. I specifically appreciate the lighting and the wood desk with plenty of space to spread out, although the chair doesn't look too comfortable for long periods! Next, let's look over at the audio gear:
Sony XDR-F1HD tuner
Denon DA-300USB DAC
Denon DN-500AV preamp
Mach 1 Acoustics DAC
Sony X303ES CD Player
Harman Kardon PM640 integrated amplifier
And that's not even including the gorgeous DarkVoice 336i he has just above that shot, and the vintage 2-channel Carver C-500 power amp he's managed to hold on to (and/or have passed down to him!) Hit the link below to see the full Imgur gallery, we don't want to spoil everything here.
