Box Island On iOS Teaches Kids Coding Fundamentals Through Fun Puzzles

If you’re looking for way to get your kids learning, Box Island is a fun, engaging iOS game that uses puzzle-like levels to teach kids the elements of coding.

In Box Island, from Code.org-affiliated developer Radiant Games, Kids will learn the basics of algorithms, pattern recognition, sequences, loops, conditionals and other coding basics while having fun playing whimsical puzzles. The characters are silly (in the good way), the music is uplifting, and the levels progress at a pace that’s challenging enough for kids without being frustrating. And the graphics are pretty great for a kid’s game. Plus, the game was designed to be gender-neutral from the ground up, so both girls and boys will enjoy the experience. You can download the app on iPhone or iPad and play the first 10 levels for free, but it costs $US7.99 ($11) to unlock the full game (100 levels). Check it out at the link below.
