DuckieTV Tracks Your Favourite Shows, Automatically Downloads New Episodes

Windows/Mac/Linux/Chrome: DuckieTV is a no-hassle, fool-proof calendar to track TV shows you're watching, and it also automatically searches for torrents of new episodes and downloads them to your hard drive. The app is completely free and works just the same on all major desktop platforms. Launch it and you'll be asked to add the shows you're interested in. DuckieTV will accordingly populate a custom calendar for you, so you know when a new episode is out.

The kicker is the torrent integration. You can use any of the best torrent clients and DuckieTV will work perfectly with them. The app can be set to search for them from popular sites like Kickass Torrents and auto-download a new episode, or you can manually do it yourself when a new episode is available too. In fact, there's a built-in search that filters torrents based on HD or Full HD and program language. You can add all these settings as default requirements, so that DuckieTV always gets the minimum quality you want. Oh yeah, and there's support for subtitles too!

DuckieTV is incredibly easy to use, and much simpler than our more manual solution to automatically download anything as soon as it's available. Of course, you don't get movies with DuckieTV yet, but let's hope that gets integrated in future versions.

As you know, piracy is a tricky issue that can land you in legal hot water, so use at your own risk.

I use Sonarr which I guess is the same thing, merges with NZB and Torrents and merrily hums along finding shows and downloading them. It's nice to come home and find a new series of a favourite has started and it's there waiting.

I tried Duckie but couldn't get it all integrated for some reason, but Sonarr seems to just do it all.

    Just another option really.

I use sickbeard for this (and Sonarr). Might check this out though, see if it's any better.
