Chrome: If you keep lots of tabs open in your browser window, it can be a minor pain to find one when you need it. Tab Organiser is a Chrome extension that helps you maintain them a little better. Once you download the extension, just click on its button in the Chrome menu, and all sites with the same URL are grouped together. You can also pin certain tabs to keep them out of the mix:
Use the extension by clicking its button, and it will rearrange the tabs in the current window, ignoring any pinned tabs.
If you do not want to reorder certain tabs, you can pin them before clicking the button to maintain their current position.
To pin, just right-click on the tab and select pin. If you're in the habit of keeping many windows open at once, it's a useful tool to help you stay organised and easily find the one you're looking for. I've found that it also comes in handy if you're doing research. For example, I keep my Google searches together when researching a topic so that when I need to get back to it, I know where to find it. Check it out at the link below.
