Google Photos Now Lets You Selectively Backup Your Pictures

Android: Up until now, Google Photos backup was all-or-nothing. Now, Google’s rolling out an update that lets you pick and choose which images you backup to your account.

In the new version of Photos, simply long-press on a picture and select the photos that you want to backup. Tap the menu button and choose “Back up now”. Those pictures will be uploaded to Google and stored with your account. This is a handy way to make use of your Google storage without uploading everything on your phone.
