Telstra’s Network Problem Has Reportedly Been Fixed

Earlier today, parts of Telstra’s mobile network dropped out for the third time since February. The trouble-prone telco has since restored services and issued another apology. No free data this time, though.

Telstra released a statement on Twitter explaining that the issue has been resolved:

Earlier in the day, multiple users took to Twitter to vent their frustration after being unable to make or receive calls on the Telstra network. The Aussie Outages mobile tracker site recorded a huge spate of reported outages in Melbourne, with a smaller amount of problems in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Hobart.

It appears connectivity has now been restored — small solace for customers who have been knocked off the service three times in the past two months. Currently, Telstra hasn’t offered any additional compensation but we’ll keep you posted if that changes.
